Video Training
One Vision Media Productions provides practical training courses for people with a learning disability in all aspects of media production. Students can learn :
Script Writing
Students get together and discuss ideas for videos then formulate their ideas and produce a script together.
Acting
This is where Students get a chance to build on their characters. Students explore what their character may look like clothes, wigs, makeup, people then build on their characters personality, throw off their inhibitions thus raising confidence and self esteem.
Camera Training & Camera Techniques
Students get one to one tuition in setting up the video camera, tripod, monitors and sound equipment ready for filming, we also explore various camera techniques, framing your subject, camera angles, panning & zooming.
Story Boarding
Story boards are used by drawing small sketches and some text to plan and get some idea of what the video may look like. At this stage we can discuss the kind of camera shots that we think will work best. Making these decisions now saves us a lot of time when we start filming.
Filming
This is where our student's preparation pays off as we enter the exiting world of filming. Bringing all our hard earned knowledge together and focus on the task in hand " LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION "
Editing
Our budding film stars & Directors now get the chance with one to one tuition to create their masterpiece. The students decide which shots to use and what order to put them in using the digital edit suite. We then begin adding some wipes fades & titles. Then with a splash of well-chosen music we bring all the elements together creating a personal DVD to share with pride.
